According to statistics near 40k student come to Ukraine to study every year. According to UNESCO in 2014 in Ukraine studied near 37.7 k of international students. 

Majority of them are students from China, during above mentioned period near 5.2k Chinese students arrive in Ukraine to study. 

Second place goes to students from Russian Federation, where near 3.9k students were welcomed in Ukrainian higher education institutions. 

And third place go to students from Turkmenistan. Near 3.3k students arrive last year to Ukraine from this country. 

It’s remarkable that number of students who leaves Ukraine to study abroad is almost the same as number of students arriving in Ukraine for education purposes. According to UNECSS near 35k student leave the country to study abroad last year. 

Since Ukrainian students leave country to gain better quality of European education, in our country come students from less economically developed countries, as the level of tuition fee is incredibly low in comparison to many European universities.
